Writer's Block: The Art of Communication

Do you prefer communicating via phone, text message or email? Does using a certain one change your behavior? (I.e. Is it easier to flirt via text than over the phone? Are you more business like in email etc.?)

I prefer texting vs calling and I am not too big on emailing. With social networking sites, email is sort of useless. I like to text because I can say what I need to say without having to have a pretentious phone call. It makes it easier. The only way I prefer talking on the phone is to my mother, which is about 4-5 times a days. At least. >.> hehe

SHORT STORY!!!

This is a Creative NonFiction Piece! It was the first project of the semester and I had the most fun writing it! It is based on a true story about me, although I have changed all of the names. I figure it's easier. I hope you enjoy this just as much as I do!

Short Story Time!

Over the course of this semester, my creative writing course has taught me so much. I have learned that just because I love something, doesn't mean that everyone else will. I have also learned that I actually enjoy criticsm. I love when a person is comfortable enough in their own skin to be 100% honest. It's beautiful.
Okay, so enough babbling, the most important thing I have learned about myself through this class is that I am not a planner. I can not plan out my idea's or preconcieve them because I second guess it and over think it. I try to just write in the moment. So far it has worked for me so I will continue in that fashion. Here is another piece I submitted for my class... Enjoy 8)

Writer

Hello!

Okay, some of you may know, but for those who do not my name is Jessica. I am a current college student, studying to be a Literature/Creative Writing major. My career goal is to get a Master's and teach at the local community college, but my dream is to be a Young Adult author. My inspirations are Sarah Dessen, JK Rowling, Meg Cabot, Kristin Cashore, Suzanne Collins and my current writing teacher.
I haven't taken any Lit classes yet, but they all start this fall and I am really excited. I figured I could start posting my stories on my LJ blog and see what people think. The stories I have written have all been submitted in my classes for grades, but some I am hoping to develop into longer stories.
I will no longer bore you will dull details about me and I will now post some short stories under cuts. I hope you enjoy and feel free to rip me to pieces. I respect honesty and I am looking to learn and grow as a writer. Thank you in advance :)

twilight saga Pictures, Images and Photos
TITLE: "Twilight Series'
AUTHOR: Stephanie Meyer
SUMMARY: A young adult romance with werewolves and vampires all fighting for one girl.

RATING: B

I like this series. It is not my favorite, but it is not horrid. Eclipse is my favorite because of the underlying history of the Cullen family. Breaking Dawn is kind of a mess. Other than that, I like it a lot.

MY REVIEW: These were just a reread, but I still love them. I read them all in order this time and it was great. I have reread them all 3 or 4 times, but never back to back. I really hope she continues something in this world, I am still waiting for my Hogwarts Letter..
